Providing Quality Chiropractic Services Since 1997

Our Office Philosophy

At Rockside & Elyria Chiropractic we dedicate ourselves to the well-being of our patients. Our primary objective is to help patients return to optimum health by providing quality service to every patient as a unique individual with specific health needs and wants. We can achieve this primarily through the use of chiropractic care, therapeutic exercises, physiotherapy, core-stabilization exercises and basic nutritional implementation.

At our clinic, we follow a team approach to health care. With this in mind, we believe that through the shared research and knowledge of both the chiropractic and medical communities we can offer the best possible care for any patient who walks into our clinic.

Our Office Guarantees:

Our guarantees are simple and reflect the integrity of our staff:

  • To keep waiting times to a minimum;
  • Charge a fair fee for our services;
  • Treat each patient as if a member of our own family;
  • Provide an atmosphere friendly to anyone who walks in the door;
  • Explain our procedures, our philosophy and our fees in advance;
  • Honor the patient’s health care decisions and her or his privacy;
  • Continue to learn and improve our own skills through study, continuing education, seminars as well as application;
  • If we can help a patient, we will tell them and provide specific recommendations and treatment. If we are unable to help, we will suggest an appropriate referral.

  • Patient education to improve posture, motor control and proper body mechanics;
  • Other treatments may be included, such as: massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, lumbar flexion / distraction, heat / cold application and basic nutritional education.

Goals of Chiropractic Treatment:

  • Short Term Goals: To reduce pain and restore normal joint function and muscle balance.
  • Long Term Goals: To restore strength to affected areas in order to achieve optimal well-being.

To achieve these goals, the chiropractor will suggest a specific number of chiropractic visits. For example: 1-3 chiropractic visits per week (as determined by the individual case and presenting symptoms) for 2-4 weeks, followed by a re-examination by the chiropractor. Upon this re-examination, we will measure the response to treatment and determine whether to:

  1. Continue chiropractic treatment, if appropriate;
  2. Release the patient from chiropractic care if the goals have been met;
  3. Refer the patient to another health care specialist (or back to referring health care provider) if the goals have not been attained.
